The Alter® RD8400 Linear Power Sensor is able to measure the power of a microwave signal at 2.45 GHz. It has a 0 - 10 V output signal proportional to the reading. The RD8400 is able to detect either the value of the continuous power or the peak value of the mean power. The RD8400 receives the power signal through a coax cable provided with standard connectors and sends the output signal through a "D" type connector, without using an external diode detector.
