The 740D 20-3000 PSIG, General Purpose Gauge Baratron® Capacitance Manometer is a rugged, industrial-grade pressure/vacuum transducer, offering superior accuracy, repeatability, and long-term signal stability. All exposed sensor surfaces have exceptional resistance to corrosion from a wide variety of aggressive chemicals. The sensor is fully welded, for protection during accidental exposure to dangerous chemicals. The 740D is referenced to atmospheric pressure, and offers full-scale measurements ranges from 20 to 3000 PSIG (1.4 to 204 bar).
Features
Differential Pressure Measurement
These capacitance manometers are referenced to local atmospheric pressure and measure the difference between the measurement side (Px) and the reference side (Pr) of the diaphragm. Applications include air and gas flow measurements for filters and analytical systems, downstream pressure control in thin film processing systems, and automated leak testing systems.
Inconel® and Incoloy® Construction Wetted Surfaces
These pressure transducers feature Inconel® and Incoloy® nickel alloy construction of the pressure sensor allowing it to operate without damage in virtually any chemical environment, including halogens, deionized water and steam, and ozone. The sensor is fully welded with no intermediate brazing or joining materials.
Wide Variety of Pressure Output Signals
These capacitance manometers are available in a wide variety of pressure output signals. They can be used as a pressure transducer when choosing the 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC output option, or as a pressure transmitter when choosing the 4-20 mA output options.
Choice of Connector Types
These pressure transducers are available with a number of connectors for easy integration into a system. Connector options include:
- 9-pin male D-subminiature
- 15-pin male high-density D-subminiature
- 9-pin D-subminiature on flying lead
- 4-pin Bendix PTO
- Flying Leads – 6 ft (2 m)
- Flying Lead with 15-pin male D-subminiature
