Overview
The AS11870G-02 Communications & Fieldbus Coupler Module provides a compact, customizable, and cost effective solution for standalone manual control, data logging, or distributed I/O. This MKS CM can be implemented as a standalone unit supporting manual, remote control capabilities with the MKS Controls Workbench application, with built in data logging and process monitoring, or it can be implemented over an Modbus TCP/IP fieldbus to support distributed I/O applications, where the MKS CM is integrated with a PLC/PAC. MKS CM can directly interface to all MKS Automation Platform I/O slices via the MKS System Bus or EtherCAT, creating a scalable distributed I/O system. The MKS Controls Workbench (CWB) software application can be used with the MKS CM Communications & Fieldbus Coupler Module. CWB provides a simple, integrated solution for device configuration, process monitoring, data storage, system diagnostics, and autotuning.
